The Orishas are Calling
In recent years, the idea of the Ifa tradition and the Orishas has gained nation-wide attention. There are houses, initiations, artifacts, etc.., popping up everywhere. I have learned on this journey, that there are no two houses or teachers the same. I am no different. We evolve as we practice. The Orishas come to awaken us not keep us the same.
I am Ifa Priest, New Thought Practitioner, Christian Minister, and an Alcohol and Drug Addiction Recovery Advocate. My studies and practices have bought me in alignment with several truths. It has introduced me to the ancestors and deities that are present here with us always. It is my plight and mission to introduce the African-American Ifa.
This course is to bring awareness to the Orishas. We will discuss the numbers and colors of each one, and how important these qualities are within our cosmic system. We we’ll talk about their personality traits, and the element (fire, wind, water, etc..) of the earth that each one represents. More importantly, we will discuss why the Orisha are here, and how they work for us.

This two month course will delve into the foundational basic workings of Ifa. We will gain insight and information into the various divination systems. Learn to use the oracles, shells, opele.
I am a very hands on instructor and believe whole heartedly that the "Practice of Ifa is the teaching of ifa". You will have many opportunities to be taught through doing. We will talk about the prayers associated with accessing the dimensions and realms in order to gain the correct information for each client.
We will talk about drumming and song, and its importance in the Ifa tradition. We'll discuss the animals, plants, birds, etc.., and their association to Ifa.
This is just the tip of the iceberg. Much, much more in store. The excitement is overwhelming.
